Welcome to Elm Academy "an outstanding school" Ofsted April 2014
Here at Elm Academy we take pride in developing outstanding progress and learning by holding the highest expectations of all our pupils and knowing the children well. We challenge all pupils to strive for academic, creative, sporting, spiritual, moral, social and cultural accomplishment within a broad, vibrant and enriched curriculum. We are a school that sets no limits on learning or achievement. We celebrate perseverance, resilience and risk taking, ensuring children welcome challenge. We encourage children to take ownership of and responsibility for their learning, so they have the confidence and curiosity to ask questions, solve problems and respond to quality feedback.
It is our aim that pupils leave Elm Academy as literate, numerate, confident young people with high aspirations, independent learning skills and a sense of moral responsibility and an appetite for future learning.
Is your child due to start school in September 2017? We'd like to invite you to Elm Academy to meet the Principal and other key staff, as well as give you a tour of the school. Click here to see the available dates and to arrange a tour.
